Project: Alpha Launch Night Invitation Cards
Objective: Design a set of business card-sized invitations that encourage church members to personally invite others to Alpha; a space to explore faith in a friendly, open environment. The design needed to strike a balance between sleek, modern style and space for handwritten names; ensuring each invitation felt personal and intentional.

Challenge

How do you create a card that feels sleek and current, yet still communicates warmth and personal connection? The design needed to work for a wide audience: visually appealing to newcomers while staying true to the church’s identity and the welcoming spirit of Alpha.

Solution

• Design Language: A minimal, clean layout was chosen to give a contemporary feel, supported by bold typography for clarity and confidence.

• Pop of Colour: A vibrant accent colour was strategically used to draw attention and inject energy.

• Interactive Element: A blank space was integrated into the design specifically for handwritten names. This small but powerful feature turned each card into a personal invitation rather than just a flyer.

• Print Format: Business card size was selected for portability and ease of sharing and storing; small enough to keep in a wallet but impactful enough to spark a conversation.
